The Da Vinci Code - fact/fiction?

Yep, one of the prezzies was the Dan Brown book which i somehow hadn't managed to get round to reading.

An intriguing book...not particularly the best written thing ever (its construction is pretty clumsy in terms of prose) but the whole theme is fascinating.

Would be interested to know if any of you lot have read it - if so, what did you think?

Also, who out there knows how much in the book is fact and how much is fiction? Have had a look at some of the 'discussion' sites and they all seem biased either towards 'up-in-flames' religious types or 'burn all churches' atheists...wouldn't mind a totally objective opinion on such things from someone.

The Just A Thought website is now fully revamped and operational!

Ok, a few cosmetic things need changing - couple of mistypes and some colour issues - but they'll be fixed by the end of the day and so we thought we'd put it straight up now. All credit to Cher, who's done a great job in very little time with it.
